This September, Agnes Wade returns to London with a coaching experience designed for adults who want to develop their runway skills, improve their posture and presence, and above all feel more confident in the way they present themselves.

Although runway coaching is often associated exclusively with aspiring models, Agnes Wade approaches it from a much wider perspective. Throughout her career in fashion and modelling, she has seen how the techniques used on the runway can also help people become more aware of their posture, movement, communication and personal presence.

For her, learning how to walk confidently is not simply about mastering a technique. It is about understanding how you carry yourself and how that can influence the way you feel in different situations.

Agnes’ own experience has shaped this approach. Her journey in fashion has taken her to international events, fashion shows, magazine covers and mentoring programmes, while also giving her a clear understanding of the pressures and expectations that often exist within the industry. Rather than allowing those expectations to define her, she built her own path and gradually began using what she had learned to support others.

As her mentoring and coaching work developed, Agnes noticed that many people came to her wanting to improve their runway walk but left having gained something broader. Learning how to control movement, maintain posture, make eye contact and feel comfortable while being observed often had an impact on their confidence outside the fashion environment as well.

This is one of the ideas behind the upcoming London session in 6th September 2026.

Participants will work on runway technique, walking, posing, posture, movement and body awareness, but the experience is also intended to help them understand and develop their individual presence. Agnes does not believe confidence comes from copying another person’s walk, style or attitude. Her aim is to help each participant identify what works for them and become more comfortable expressing it.

For aspiring models, this can provide practical preparation for castings, runway opportunities, shoots and other situations where presentation is important. However, the session is equally relevant to people with no intention of pursuing a modelling career.

The ability to enter a room with confidence, communicate clearly and remain composed when attention is directed towards you can be valuable in professional and personal life. Presentations, interviews, meetings and networking situations all require many of the same qualities that are developed through runway coaching.

For Agnes, this is where fashion and personal development naturally meet.

After years of building her own career, teaching has become an increasingly important part of her work. She sees coaching as an opportunity to share the lessons she has learned through experience and to help others avoid believing that confidence is something people are simply born with.

I have seen people change the way they see themselves once they understand their posture, their movement and their own presence. Runway coaching gives us a practical way to work on those things, but what people take away from it can go much further than the runway.”

London is a natural setting for the next session. As one of the world’s major fashion capitals and a city defined by diversity and individuality, it reflects many of the values that have shaped Agnes Wade’s work and her approach to coaching.

The upcoming experience is therefore not about creating one particular type of model or teaching everyone to move in exactly the same way. It is about technique, confidence and discovering how to present yourself without losing your individuality.

Whether the goal is to prepare for a future in modelling, improve existing runway skills or simply experience a different way of developing confidence and presence, Agnes Wade’s London coaching session offers participants the opportunity to work on how they move, how they present themselves and, ultimately, how they feel when they step forward.
